I actually was comfortable when creating my healthy-conflict video due to previously being in a supervisor position and having to deal with another supervisor acting like the one in the video. To be in leadership and management , you have to gain an understanding that you no longer represent just yourself but also the employees who work for you. As a leader, you want your department to be seen positively and not has one that can't work with others. My understanding of leadership and management has grown since the start of this course. I have been able to learn additional skills to be in a leadership position and new useful ways to handle changing trends of management styles. My question is how the leadership team should look at this argument of which is more important the staff or the clients served.

I was really comfortable and felt i was in my element due to my type of leadership roles in my past. I was in the Army for 9 years and was in different leadership positions throughout my career, which resolving conflict might be seen as more unconventional that most ways. Then from my time as a Law enforcement officer, where my main job was literally conflict resolution in many different situations and de-escalation was our main objective when dealing with people in crisis. I honestly just went into the video with no practice, although I did redo my beginning approximately 4 times, but my 5th try was my end results. I'm more of a critical thinker and develop a plan as I go type of leader, which in my past experiences has always been a strength and I'm hope becoming a social worker that I can fine tune this skill set. "I think clearer when there is more chaos" is always a term that comes to mind when dealing with conflicts for myself.
