Respond to . I regret to acknowledge that I have participated in and contributed to toxic culture, similar to the discussion scenario, at a previous organization. However, after some personal reflection and receiving guidance from a mentor, I grew to become an internal change consultant. Change is difficult, but possible, when you acknowledge there is a problem, employ trusted change agents, influence the cultural "power brokers", and win the population (Milburn, 2019). My mentor shared this process with me which influenced my commitment to change the toxic culture at my previous organization
