One tactic that I like to employee when major projects are underway is an all-hands-on deck meeting. These meetings generally include stakeholders from multiple departments and call out what their role and/or responsibility will be. This usually opens the door for the team to understand what one another should be working on and if there are gaps, the team is generally move inclined to communicate that, helping us move forward quicker. The other way we create a sense of urgency is by creating a cadenced check-in with team members that opens the door to both understanding the importance of their role, but also how important it is to communicate across the organization. I'd utilize this plan when calling out the major issues I see in the company's strategy. An all-hands meeting with the proper stakeholders would be a good forum to collect information from across the organization quickly and that information could be used to create a communication plan for the company.
