Respond to - My course project will focus on starting a pet store. I like to think of my pet as part of my family and I know that many people out there feel the same way. What I don't like is having to go to places like PetSmart and the like to get some of the things I'm looking for because I feel that the quality is lacking, and the product is not exactly what I'm looking for, so I have to make compromises. The shop I have in mind is more custom product oriented and can be manufactured right out of my garage with general hand and power tools so no need to put down capital for a large CNC machine or anything like that. I can focus on smaller projects first to build a client base that can be promoted through word of mouth, adds, business cards and supported by a website. This will help me to build a good, trustworthy and honest reputation. I'm pretty handy when it comes to fixing things or making things or my home and designing new things is something I enjoy.
