With Super-Confidential information such asHIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, substance abuse, and mental health and psychiatric records there is a required additional more detailed and specific written consents and authorizations for a physician or facility to release a patients super confidential information.This being said those who improperly release this highly sensitive information are subject to even greater civil liability than if it were not super confidential. I can see the improper training of employees for HIPPA compliance on such matters being the largest threat to a HIPPA violation.
