Explain the four guidelines as a business communicator when it comes to cultural competency . Explain different business etiquettes . Go into detail about the similarities and differences amongst different culture (high vs high, low vs low, high vs low) . Show a culural map (look for visuals in Erin Meyer's the culture map) . Explain the importance of communicating with different cultures and how to effectively do so. . Go into depth about how communication varies among different cultures. Explain the importance of knowing whether a country is more group oriented or individual oriented (group harmony vs individualism). Mention my own cross-cultural group experience and provide secondary research (discuss the books I recently read pertaining to culture.) . Follow up with how communication plays a part in all of it and expand on the different forms of communication when it comes to society and culture. Discuss the importance of language when it comes to communication and why I believe it is importance to know multiple languages.
