Q#1
Immigration has been a popular topic for some time now. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is the federal agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that adjudicates immigration and citizenship benefits and determines eligibility for visas. (U.S. Visa Law Enforcement Resource Guide - USCIS.GOV2019). The USCIS department is not to be confused with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). ICE protects our borders from crime and illegal immigration that threatens national security (Ice, n.d.).
As an immigrant child, and now a U.S. citizen, immigration has always been a part of my life. I have always felt that I've lived under deadlines and paperwork that either expired or needed renewing. Any process I went through required additional paperwork. For example, being processed for a new job, driver's license, home loan, school loan, or professional licenses.
When having to deal with immigration you are forced to be aware of any policy changes. There have been changes to immigration with each administration, which lead me to finalize my citizenship. The process is long and stressful but worth it because it provides opportunity.
As a citizen I have the opportunity to vote, process less paperwork, avoid renewals, and have dual citizenship. In the future, I would have the option to continue my profession in procurement and apply for the federal government, which I wasn't able to before.
I understand immigration views, opinions and experiences are different for everyone but this is just to share how it has impacted my life. Citizenship is also a granted right that I am grateful for but can also be revoke under serious circumstances.

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is responsible for regulating the securities markets and protecting the investors of companies trading on American exchanges (Jackson, 2018). Via the established SEC regulations, the SEC strives to create transparency in the marketplace, sharing market-related information, business practices, and protection against fraud. The SEC requires the publication of financial reports, registration statements, and other securities to inform today's investors better.
The SEC seems to be honing in on the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects of business, pushing them towards imperative future practices. ESG is becoming increasingly important as the SEC begins to enforce related regulations on publicly listed companies. Companies are now being asked to consider human capital disclosure requirements for companies. This will change the approach to business and management in all sectors amongst multiple industries. ESG and its advocates believe wages are essential to financial performance, as increasing employee turnover and the tight labor market has greater negative consequences on performance. This could force business leaders and executives to look at performance from alternative metrics such as workforce turnover, skills and development training, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and health and safety
