To fix this issue all managers need an increase in pay to where they are making more than the line workers. Managers have more responsibility including monitoring the line workers and if something goes wrong it falls on the manager. Some managers are making twice as much as other managers even though their work is similar. There are two you can look at this. Seniority- If a manager has been at the job longer than the other managers that plays a part in the pay difference. A manager who has been with a company for a year should not be making the same amount as a manager who has been there for 10 years. New Managers- All pay should be the same unless hired with experience. Some line workers are making significantly more money than others even though they are performing the same work.
