Here is a bit of help in this week's discussion topic. In Week 2 and this discussion question we are discussing business organizations. The term "structure" is a bit of a misnomer. Clearly, businesses have an internal organization structure, i.e. the organization tree that defines each person's role in the business and who reports to whom. This discussion concerns the business' legal structure. We are talking about sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, and the other legal forms used to operate a business. It is important that we distinguish each type of entity's attributes. Here is a table of the various important attributes for comparison.
