Client centered therapy and psychoanalytic psychotherapy have the similarities of active listening and showing the empathy and securing the patient in what they are talking about. while watching the videos of client centered therapy and keeping it simple, i loved how it was designed for the patient to match what his inner thoughts are with the reflection and engagement of the therapist. A small weakness would be that you don'tadd any thought on what may be going on or suggestion. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy has its strengths where they deep dive and direct the conversation in understanding a deeper past issue. The slight weaknessmay be what centered therapy emphasizedabout the lean in and the lighttouch during the conversation. Both are great forms of therapy.
