Respond to the modern argument that for purposes of interpreting the U.S. Constitution it is irrelevant what people intended for the words in the constitution to mean when it was drafted more than 200 years ago; what's relevant is how the words should be interpreted in light of the present needs and expectations of society. Be sure to specifically draw upon the information presented in your textbook in chapters 10 and 13 to inform both a legal as well as biblical response.
