The chapter points out that communication is "one of the most important responsibilities of the Transition and Activation Planning Project Manager" and emphasizes the need to use established communication methods that have previously been successful (Guzman et al., 2020, p. 34).Regular and transparent communication also promotes accountability. For example, using a Monthly Slide Deck, as recommended in the text, allows for consistent updates on project progress, issues, and timelines. This practice keeps everyone informed of the current situation and allows for the timely correction of any deviations. Open lines of communication aid in the detection and resolution of potential issues before they become major problems. The chapter also emphasizes the value of an Issue Management Plan, which uses effective communication tools to track and prioritize issues (Guzman et al., 2020).
