Respond to the prompt above in a minimum of 175 words: Some people say that Venture Capitalists will avoid both the early stages and later stages of a company (Fowler, 2022). I worked for a company that began working with a VC. The company was a retailer about 100 years old at the time. I believe this particular VC was interested in my company because we had a sizable cash reserve. They began to advise us to make risky (but potentially profitable) stock market investments. These investments were profitable and our cash reserves grew. The VC focused on earning money for the company and not necessarily making use of our core competency (retail sales). Was their advice bad? It did help the company build cash reserves
