Respond to these two peers with thoughts questions/concerns likes and dislikes regarding their response to this post: what factors of being a multicultural counselor do you believe will be the most challenging and the least challenging to incorporate in human service practice in general? For you individually? In your post, support your beliefs with quotes from your text or other sources.

post 1:I don't think this will be too hard for me to follow. I'm very considerate when I take into account other people's beliefs and what culture they may come from. I have a lot of practice with this since I currently work as campus security at a university that has mostly international students that attend there. I think the only hard thing that might be a little difficult is trying to work with the client while respecting their cultural views and while following my codes of ethics on what I have to do. For example, the case illustration on page 93, I feel like that would be very difficult trying to come to a solution. I would probably have a talk with my supervisor or whoever is in charge to see how I go about a situation like that. With the right training though and as I build up experience in this field, I'm sure this will only be a minor issue to overcome.

post 2: I think that one of the most challenging things as a multicultural counselor would be setting boundaries. The book used the example as gift giving; this is normally inappropriate, but in some cultures, it is used as a way to show respect and gratitude. I think that I would struggle with this because I find it would be difficult to always know if someone is crossing a boundary or if it is just a way they show their appreciation. I think one of the easier things would be implementing a treatment plan. Even when you are not a multicultural counselor, you still have to do this by taking everything about this person into consideration. I believe it would be very similar, you may just have to take more or different things into consideration
