This is important because it builds a culture of trust. However, I do believe that staff must have integrity to make decisions with their best interest in the organization, and most importantly the patient. My organization provides resources for staff to create this space of psychological safety. This includes Employee Assistance Programs, HR Services, and Union representation. All can be employed if any staff member is presented with the challenge of being fearful of making choices
