The facility I work at doesn't have all of the same positions as other facilities that are a part of the organization, but the facility is trying to grow regardless and match up to those in the surrounding area. Recently, the associate director of the department I work in added Transporters to help discharge patients, as well as transport them from one area to another when appropriate. The associate director wanted me to start to transportation dispatch and help run it at the facility. She had me download the directions from the corporate website and contact other facilities to figure out what has worked best. She then had me go from unit to unit for 2 weeks and teach the entire facility how to work the software and put in orders for transporters. I consider this running a project as it was something new that was introduced to the facility, and I was in charge on making sure that everyone was taught how to operate the new software.
