For example, some companies have documented savings in overall product development costs of 20%, reductions in development time of 50%, and reductions in engineering design changes of 45-50%." I do think the most valuable benefit that CE can provide a firm is an overall legacy of quality and value, think Toyota and Honda, two automotive firms that are synonymous with quality and value.
