Responding to an Active Shooter incident will be one of the most dangerous and stressful things you can do as a firefighter. Think about all the chapters we have covered in this course and the initiatives that they represent. After Columbine, Sandy Hook, and Uvalde mass shootings, the option of "staging away" until the shooter is subdued has proven to cost many children's lives......the decision to ACT is going to be a very personal one to make.
