1. Recently, I bought a carry on luggage on Amazon. It was made in China. I didn't know it was made in China before I bought it, but I checked the product information again and I saw Amazon gave a detailed information for this product. In my opinion, the country a good is made in might have about 20% of effect for my decision. If the products from some countries have bad reputation, I will avoid to buy the product that made in those countries. I only check the place of the good made when I buy something very expensive or very important. At those times I will search which country has good reputation for the product I want to buy, but most of the time I care about the other buyers' review more.

2. The tobacco industry in the United States has been protected since Great Depression. Tobacco industry is protected from international competition because it threatens people's health and wellbeing. The government must have some international trade policy in place to keep other countries from exporting too much tobacco to the United States. I am agree with this industry should be protected because if the government levies high tariffs to make the producers have higher cost, there will become less producer want to export tobacco to the United States and people's health will be protected. If protections for the tobacco industry were to disappear, the amount of imported tobacco would increase significantly, and people's health could be threatened.
