response to statement with citation If I were to interpret these statements, I'm not sure if I can pick out anything in them surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion other than personalized, and "all students" which is referenced a number of times. I'm learning the organization and have had about a dozen in-district days. I believe the statements reflect the organization's values and goals, however I'm not sure they know how to operationalize the statements. For example, Rice University (2019) explains diversity can present benefits such as encourage the inclusion of diverse perspectives and voices within decision-making process, however, the culture has been one that is very top down. The previous superintendent (as I've been told by many) did not involve people in the decisions that impact them. So does one person know what "all students" need to be successful
