response to the following post

Good Afternoon everyone, im going to discuss the three types of unemployment and their classification of desireable and undesireable.

The first one ill speak to s Structual unemployment. This comes from a situation where the people skills dont match the demand for labor. An example provided in the reading this week was Kodak camrea company workers led to unemployment beause of a change in techonology such as digital cameras. A comparison I have that may be more foreseable in the future is cable television workers. Granted there are always wires involved with wireless streaming, just not to the capacity it once was. There are companies who are developing more satelite comms that provide services for internet and television but dont require a dish like older companies did. Even those companies may have moved on from that instalation. This type of unemployment is undesireable

Another is Cyclical unemployment which is when a demand for a service or product faces a routine down turn in demand and creates unemployment. This is not in the hands of the worker, more of the market and economy and appears to be undesireable in most if not all cases.

Frictional unemployment is the time between jobs under positive circumstances. I see a lot of this happen with those who exit the military and go civilian without a job but go to school for what could be considered a better job. This doesnt soley mean you were fired or quit, you just would have moved to a different level of your previous profession. I personaly do not see the internet completely eliminiating frictional unemployment. There are other professions that have growth that arent fully capable of turned into tech and internet. This is by far the mose desireable type of unemployment.

Let me know what you think of my views on this and any input you have towards it.
