According to the University of the People (n.d.), "In your graduate studies, you will also have opportunities to research something that really matters to you, whereas in undergrad, you might have less of a say in research content.In addition, it will give me exposure to the differing viewpoints and methodologies in the field of psychology specifically as it relates to human behavior and substance abuse. As a result of this exposure and the opportunity to compare and contrast varied approaches, I will deepen my understanding and discover the best channels that I can use to help others in my role as a therapist.
