When looking at growth in demographics, the areas that have large colleges and/or universities seem to be growing in population which had become lowered during the whole covid outbreak. The fastest growth was mostly in Texas, with Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina not far behind. Arizona has the most population gain. Texas is second and Florida is the third that gains the most.The bigger cities, Los Angeles and New York, have the biggest decline in population. It is important to know this because if areas grow, so do prices like we had just seen with the house buying wars. People from California, (the biggest population) would buy houses and turn around and sell them for more than what they paid for them and would outbid people. Areas with fast-growing populations may have a difficult time keeping up with the needs of people, for instance, grocery stores and doctor offices.
