In determining roles for the project, each member of the team chose a topic that they were, or will be, familiar with. All members of the group are Core Team members and work with one another from week-to-week to ensure the project deliverables are of quality and delivered on time. Each week there will be a different Subject Matter Expert (SME) as the person responsible for each deliverable. The deliverables were determined based on the course assignments for each module. The SME will conduct research and pose questions as necessary to other group members. They are important to the project because they will have much of the information required for individual aspects within a larger project (Kloppenborg, et al, 2017). The consultant each week will serve as the facilitator. The facilitator is needed to provide boundaries and narrow the scope to any complex problems we will face each week (Kloppenborg, et al, 2017). Furthermore, the facilitator can offer recommendations to look into for the SMEs, but more importantly they ensure the SME has traction in the right direction based on the deliverable description each week and or previous knowledge of the industry/topic. Our group will use an inquisitor as the project unfolds. This person will offer constructive criticism and alternative viewpoints. Additionally, they will question the viability and effectiveness of the proposed methods and processes. The need for this role is important due to the market we are entering into. Other competitors like Apple, Samsung and Galaxy know what and how to gain traction and in order for our product to compete it will need alternative viewpoints and processes. Another role within the group will be a quality manager. This person will provide guidance and structure (outline) to the group for project flow when presenting or writing reports. Additionally, they will ensure proper formatting and that all necessary sections are present and linked as appropriate. Other group members will assist in ensuring readability for their respective sections, and that any necessary transitions are included and proper callouts to figures and tables are present.
