Review the attached book  about White Supremacy from Robin Diangelo's White Fragility. If you are not familiar with the term or only understand the term based on its usage in the media, I encourage you to read this chapter with an open mind. White supremacy is more complex than it sounds by its terminology and probably not what you think it is. 1. Were you aware that the definition of what it means to be White was invented and has steadily evolved over the years based on legislation?
2. Do you think racism would be the same in America if the White population was fragmented by ethnicity (i.e., Italian, Irish, etc.) instead of being viewed a racial monolith through the lens of race as a social construct that can be determined by legislation?
