Approximately 90% of criminal cases are settled by plea bargain. You have probably seen this in action with the college admission scandal currently making the news. At least one parent who paid for their child's admission to USC has plead not guilty.

Why do you think most cases don't ever go to trial? Do you know the percentage of how many of the ones that go to trial are found guilty?
