Review the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model on page 61 in your textbook. The requirements changed somewhat in 2018 and can be found here, http://www.himssanalytics.org/emram. You can review the list of facilities here, http://www.himssanalytics.org/stage7, that have achieved Stage 6 or Stage 7 designation. Review the list to see if there are any facilities that you are familiar with. Does the list surprise you? Have you personally had any contact with one of these facilities? Was there a difference between these and some that did not make the list?
