Reword. Hello Professor and Class my name is Valetina Horton call me Val. I have worked as a BSW social Worker for the last 16 years I also studied Public Administration and obtained my Master. I spent the majority of my career working with low income families through various non profit organizations which were grant funded position and most of the agencies lost funding for the program. I studied public administration to get into the grant managment side of social work. I hoped to work as a compliance officer for an agency to help them maintain grant funding, manage funds, and secure other funding sources to ensure programs were successful. My passion is Social Work which brings me tp the MSW program here at union. Currently I am working as a full-time Medical Social Worker. I have a 21 year old daughter who is a junior in college. I lam excited for this system and look forward to working with each one of you.
