Ricardo, Trung's next-door neighbour, is not well educated and suffers from severe depression. Ricardo relies upon Trung for advice and support. Ricardo wants to sell some land that he owns, and Trung agrees to buy the land from Ricardo. Ricardo accepts a price offered by Trung, that is well below the market price for the land. Without seeking independent legal or financial advice, Ricardo signs the contract of sale. Ricardo's brother Roman is furious when he finds about the transaction. Roman says that Ricardo can ask a court to rescind the sale, because of Trung's undue influence. Is he right?
