Robert thinks that there is a natural order to the family and that Becky should accept the situation because he is the man, therefore he is in charge. Becky thinks that this is an unfair system and because she works and contributes to the family she should have equal say in the family decisions. Robert see the family from a perspective and Becky sees it from a perspective.
