Robyn just got an email reminder about the family reunion scheduled for the coming weekend. The reunion has been planned for months but Robyn had forgotten all about it until she saw the email reminder. Months ago, Robyn had promised her cousin, the one organizing the event, that she would bring a dish to pass. She had also sent a check for $35.00 to her cousin to cover her part of the rent for the facility that was going to be used for the event. At that same time, Robyn also made a non-refundable reservation at a hotel near the reunion site.

Here is Robyns dilemma. Because the reunion had completely slipped her mind, Robyn has made other plans for the weekend. Specifically, she planned on purchasing a ticket to a concert that will held on the same day as the reunion. If she purchases the ticket and attends the concert, she will need to drive 20 miles to the concert and park at the nearby parking structure. Parking for events at the concert typically costs $5.00.

The reunion, on the other hand, will require Robyn to drive 75 miles west of her apartment on a toll road to get to the facility rented for the reunion. She expects the toll to cost $2.50 each way and expects to pay $5.00 to park her car. Whether or not she actually attends the reunion Robyn feels she still has to provide a dish to pass. If she attends the reunion, she will pick something up at the grocery store and bring it with her. If she decides to go to the concert instead, she will arrange to have something delivered to the reunion location, which will be more costly because of the delivery charge and the need to include a tip for the delivery person. She feels strongly that at this late date she cannot ask her cousin for the $35.00 back.

For questions 11-18 which of the following costs would be considered relevant and which would be irrelevant to Robyns decision to attend the concert or the reunion.
