You will release the block from different heights and watch it slide down the ramp. You will measure the speed of the block at the base of the ramp and use that to calculate the kinetic energy. You will be measuring the height of the block and the speed of the block when it hits the bottom. In the following table record the y height of the block, found in the left-hand side of the data table at the bottom of the screen next to y. Click the red Start button to release the block. It will slide to the bottom of the ramp and explode when it hits the bottom. Record the total velocity vtot in the data table.
