Later, the same day, Rosie met Mitchell who proposed to buy the purse for $1,200. Rozie immediately agrees and sells the purse to Mitchell. Rozie attempted to contact Cindy by phone to tell her that the offer is revoked. However, Cindy's phone was out of range and Rozie left a voicemail stating that the offer is terminated. Owing to a disruption in the mobile phone service, Cindy did not receive the message at all. At 5.45 p.m. the following day, Cindy contacted Rozie and informed her that she has decided to purchase the purse for $1.000. Rozie replies that the purse has already been sold to Mitchell.
