rozrdowney.Instructure.com%2Fca 7. While playing a game at the local carnival, Pete used some of his math skills! One game involved a hidden spinner. The Carney would call out a series of spin results without showing the players what the spinner looked like. Pete watched and listened for two days, recording how many times each response was given. The results are in the table below: Purple Stripes Monkeys Pink Polka Dots 78 158 12 114 196 Pete will return with his money, ready to play this game. Based on the information in the table, explain the probabilities of each section of coming up on the spinner. Give Pete some advice if he has enough money to play the spinner game five times. 8. Larry and Daryl are working on their math homework. The come upon this problem: A bag contains 12 green marbles, 10 yellow marbles, and 15 red marbles. What is the probability that a marble drawn at random is green? Green or red? Green and red? "Well, that's just too easy!" Larry says. "Wait a minute," chimes in Daryl. "I'm confused on part of it," he adds. "What are you talking about?" asks Larry. "The answers are 37 , 37 , and 37," Larry adds. "Yeah, that's where I'm confused. I don't think you are correct on the last one," Daryl says. What do you think? Is Larry correct on all of them? If so, help explain these answers to Daryl so he will believe them. If not, explain to Larry what he did incorrectly. Be clear and complete in your reasoning
