Safety End of Course Project One

learned about numerous modes of Transportation including Motor Carrier, Ocean Carrier, Rail, Pipelines, and Air. Your final end-of-course project will help give you an overview and in-depth research into the importance of safety in one of the Transportation Operations Modes.

You will log on to the Internet and search for safety regulations relating to one of the following modes of transportation: motor carriers, airlines, railroads, ocean, or pipeline. Explain how the rules affect the operation of your chosen mode.

You will be creating a Video Presentation that outlines the safety regulations of your chosen transportation mode.

Your video presentation will include the following:

• Introduction: Chosen Regulation, Student Name, Class, and Date of Presentation
• Explain why you chose this particular set of regulations
• Rules/affects
• Summarize what you learned from this research project as it pertains to Safety in transportation

Note: It is understood not everyone likes to record themselves in a video. You can be creative with your video. You do not necessarily have to speak in your video. You may choose to use music, picture, words, and so on. As long as you meet all objectives and answer all questions your video will be acceptable.

When discussing items in your video make sure to credit your sources. Stating your sources makes your information creditable.

Your video should be between 5-10 minutes in length. You may use your computer camera, cell phone, or any other video source. Once your video is complete, upload the video to YouTubeLinks to an external site.. (Links to an external site.)

Once the video is uploaded and published, copy the link and post it in the assignment. Make sure it is viewable for the professor.
