Adib : Well, I admit that some of the problems are due to my weaknesses. Salline, can you please help me to solve this issue? A lot of time and money have been wasted, and if the client still does not want to sign off, the impact is on me and our company.

Below is an excerpt of conversation between Mrs. Salline, the Deputy Director of Fantagira IT services and Mr. Adib. a junior analyst. The conversation is about the issue that was faced by Fantagite IT Services in regard to Mr. Adib's first project on systems development. Salline : Adik. I am asking you to meet me because I received a report from Mr. Ragib, your senior system analysts... He said that the customer would not sign off to take over the inventory tracking system that your team had been developed for the past few months. Adib : Well, yes. I admit it. I am just too tired to deal with them. They keep on asking my team to fix this and that... we started off with five deliverables... but from time to time they kept on pushing us to change the requirement of the system. Now, instead of five deliverables, we have ten deliverables to be completed. Can you imagine that? Salline : Wait, I heard different stories. Let me share some of the information that I received from Raqib's memo: Our investigation revealed that the client does not want to sign off to take over the inventory tracking system for the following reasons: 1. Constant changes of system requirement and yet the client still not satisfy with the outcome. The client claimed that the development team always made their own assumption on what the client really want. Hence, the client requested the team to continuously adjust the deliverable of the system 2. The client claimed that the new system does not fit with its business culture and had mismatch with the client's mission and vision. 3. The client claimed that the system development techniques used by the systems analyst was outdated because the client could only see the function of the new system during the systems implementation. They want the team to use the newest system development method as it was important for them to see, test and experience the system from time to time during the development project Below is an excerpt of conversation between Mrs. Salline, the Deputy Director of Fantagira IT services and Mr. Adib. a junior analyst.
