On April 30th, Tim sent another letter by USPS mail to Sally that stated that he was withdrawing the offer. Sally received that letter on May 1. Also, on April 30th, Sally emailed Tim to accept his offer. Tim opened that email on May 1st. Tim refused to sell the business to Sally, claiming no contract had been formed because he withdrew his offer. Sally sued Tim to enforce the contract against Tim.
