Sam and Jonah are friends and both in need of a laptop computer. Sam decided to buy Jonah's old laptop and paid him $1,000 in cash. Jonah decided to buy a secondhand laptop from his local JB Wifi retailer. Jonah also paid $1,000 for the laptop. After a few weeks, both laptops broke and needed repairs.
