Sam Chikwasha is working as a Procurement expert at Kanzhinga Brand Limited in Zambia. He is involved in the day to day operation of the firm and particularly, in the procurement of materials from China. At one of the meetings with his superiors, Peter is requested to explain why he prefers certain INCOTERMS to others. In his response, he explains the advantages of the INCOTERMS he prefers using and how they benefit the company. He further explains that some of the INCOTERMS do not apply to a landlocked country like Zambia. At the end of his explanation, one senior manager asked Peter:
