Sante's Cookies is a small local bakery that is needing your help in generating a Cash Budget for the month ended May 31, 2021. The owner likes to have a minimum of $4,000 in cash available for any given month. The expectation is that its revenues and purchases of raw materials will be as follows:

Sales Purchases
March $ 28,000 $ 162,000
April $ 40,000 $ 42,600
May $ 52,000 $ 38,200
June $ 44,000 $ 44,800
July $ 36,000 $ 29,400

Because Sante supplies many vendors, sixty percent of her sales are on credit. Collection of outstanding Accounts Receivables has never been a problem; historically she collects 30% in the month following the sale and the remainder in the month after that. Payments to their suppliers are put on account and are paid for in the month following the purchase. The beginning Cash balance at May 1, 2021 is $4,000. At May 1, 2021, there is also an outstanding loan for $2,200 as well.

Required: Prepare a cash budget for Sante's Cookies for the month of May, 2021.
