Her daily routing day consisting of the following activities: 1-hour walking (at rate 3 km/hr), 1-hour standing, 3 hours doing office work while seated and 3 hours doing office work while standing. The remaining 8 hours she rests and does not do any outside activity. Sarah wants to have different outside activities in order to balance her energy expenditure with daily calorie intake from the meals. a) What is the current daily total metabolic rate if Sarah rest for 8 hours and does not do any outside activity and how many kcals she will gain each day? (10 Points) b) Design 3 different daily routines that will balance the energy intake with expenditure such that Sarah can rest between 3-5 hours a day have at least 2 different outside activities from the table 1 below. The difference between energy intake and expenditure should be less than or equal to 50 kcal. Your design should mention the activity name, duration, energy expenditure rate in minutes and weight factor. An example of one design which does not consider the energy difference is having 5 hours for resting, 2 hours playing volleyball and 1 hours skiing. Note: table 1 uses different weight factor. Show detailed work in a table and you can use Excel to test different activities and duration. Your total hours for all activities must not exceed 24 hours.
