Sarah was in love with Tom and decided that if she could just get him in a room for five minutes, she could convince him

Sarah was in love with Tom and decided that if she could just get him in a room for five minutes, she could convince him that he loved her too. Unfortunately, her plan did not work out and Tom told her that she was too crazy for his liking. Angry, Sarah locked Tom in her bedroom and told him that killer "New York rats" the size of raccoons would be waiting outside for him if he tried to escape. Tom, believing Sarah, did not leave the room for three days. When Sarah finally released him, Tom sued her for false imprisonment. In Sarah's defense, she stated that Tom could have left at any time because the door was unlocked and there were in fact no rats. She said that Tom was a "sissy" for being afraid of rats in the first placeshe believes that, even if she had acquired the rats and placed them outside his room, they would not have posed a real danger. Discuss whether Tom will be successful in his suit against Sarah
