Satellite news feeds consisting of raw text and photos come into the main data center and are written to a network file share. The publisher needs to replicate the data across its 3 locations, all located in Eastern Canada. Each location has an SMB file server on-premises, and the publisher has been using a file copy (robocopy.exe) utility to copy data to each server. The publisher is looking for a more reliable, scalable solution for copying the data. 

Resource considerations 

• The data replication must be available all the time (730 hours per month) 

• The solution must be able to support up to 5 TB of storage. 

• Data must be transferred using secure file transfers with minimal latency. 

• Anticipated volume of data transfers is about 500 GB of data per month
