Say you are planning a trip to Oklahoma to visit your sister and her family for the holidays. You can travel from December 9, 2022 to January 2, 2023 and must be in Oklahoma on Christmas day to see your nephews open the Lego sets you bought them and secretly want to build on your own. You must travel from Seattle, Washington to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and back during that time.
You must find the fastest route there and back (minimize travel time) And the cheapest route there and back (minimize cost)
You can use any mode or combination of transportation to travel. Assume that you can get a ride to and from airports or bus/train stations so that you do not need a rental car and also assume that you can stay at your sister's house as long as you want and enjoy their newly remodeled bathroom and guest room. If you are not just flying, also factor in food costs and if you are driving also factor in overnight hotel costs and fuel costs. For each route (the fastest and the cheapest) carefully show your calculation for the total cost and the total time.
Submit your findings in a written report and be sure to include the sources for your information.
