Scenario: ABC University Hospital has been ranked by US News as the #5 hospital in the nation. The hospitals goal is to move to #3 in the nation. To move to #3 in the nation, Population Health Management must improve within the hospital. Amid this milestone the Joint Commission conducted a survey at ABC University Hospital and the surveyors cited the hospital. The hospital was cited due to misdiagnosing illnesses and medical errors that accounted, for 5% of deaths within the hospital. Clinical leadership at ABC Medical Center decided to meet with the Health IT/Informatics department after the survey, to implement AI, for improvement of issues with misdiagnoses and medical errors.

Assignment: For this assignment, the Health IT/Informatics department has been tasked to devise an AI related Project, to implement within ABC University Hospital. This AI Project will be utilized to address misdiagnoses and medical errors currently occurring, which may be plaguing the hospitals clinicians/end users. This project will be presented to Clinical Leadership, for approval, with the intention of increasing ABC University Hospitals ranking to #3, during the next ranking by US News.
