Scenario

Blexxon was in the business of delivering gasoline to gas stations. For this purpose, Blexxon used tanker trucks. An undetectable defect in the hitch mechanism caused the trailer on one of its trucks to disengage while the truck was traveling along a highway. The trailer overturned and spilled much of its load. Within a few moments, a spark caused by a passing car ignited the gasoline vapors, and a huge fire broke out. Chevron Chase, driving another car, was unable to avoid the fire, and suffered significant burns when his car became engulfed in flames. Chevron (known to his friends as "Chevy") Chase brings an action against Blexxon.

1) Make an argument that Blexxon should be held strictly liable for Chase's damages.

2) Make an argument that Blexxon should not be held strictly liable for Chase's damages.
