Scenario:

Continuing severe weather is causing widespread damage. There are multiple impacts in the community. Vehicle movements is constrained, some people are stranded and are in need of assistance, there have been impacts on communications and power, and some structures are impacted. 9-1-1 operators are receiving conicting reports about a number of life-safety needs, including some weather-related injuries and an unveried report of the structural collapse of an assisted living facility.

Every Incident Action Plan should address these four questions:

What do we want to do? Who is responsible for doing it? How do we communicate with each other? What is the procedure if someone is injured?

In roughly 2 pages, identify four items you would include in an Incident Action Plan for the severe weather scenario described above. Read through the Week 4 material to help you understand the Incident Action Plan. Use the four questions above to help you formulate four important items for your incident action plan. No need for cover and reference pages.
