Scenario Discussion
This is a collaborative discussion that we will use for social learning, applying what you learned in a role in an organization, and to bridge the gap between content and real life. All learners are required to contribute and encouraged to personalize the conversation.
We are going to use this discussion forum like a wiki. A wiki is an interactive gathering of ideas about a particular topic through posts made by a group of people. It's similar to a discussion, but while discussions are a way of exploring a topic in a more contained timeframe, like a module or a week, a wiki allows for development of ideas across the length of a course. By exploring a topic or topics in this format, you have the opportunity to reflect and reconsider ideas as you build your knowledge, thereby chronicling the aggregation of knowledge.
The purpose of this forum is to share ideas and even brainstorm for your Final Project.
You can share ideas at any time. In fact, we encourage you to start sharing your thoughts on the specific module topics as required in modules 2 & 4, so you can build this resource and have a better foundation on which to create your Final Project. Anyone can start a discussion or add to this knowledge base. By the end of the course we will have developed a course resource through the exchange of ideas and sharing of information.
As this is an activity that can be seen by others in this course, when composing your responses please remember that this is a public forum and abide by netiquette rules. Also, ensure that any work-related examples upon which you may draw do not include names of people.
Instructions:
Step 1: Join the conversation and contribute your ideas and learning. Choose one of the module scenarios, practice activities, your organization or an organization that had similar opportunities or challenges.
Step 2: Take a role in the organization or scenario.
Step 3: Add something new or ask for peer feedback on the problem, recommendation, or opportunity.
Step 4: Comment on other's contributions to help brainstorm formulate new ideas on the scenarios and other examples.
