Essenziale Cosmeticos is a relatively new Brisbane-based company engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of plant-based beauty products. The raw materials of its products are all sourced from Brisbane as well. Being in the business for two years now, it utilises the use of plastic, glass and ceramic cosmetic containers made by Containers Inc, a Brisbane-based company for the packaging of its products.

You are the accountant of Essenziale Cosmeticos. Essenziale is looking into incorporating sustainability practices in its production and operations for economic and brand benefits.

Task 1: Obtain and Analyse Information on Sustainability

1. Obtain information on three (3) other cosmetic companies like Essenziale and look into their policies or strategies or practices and the impacts of the sustainability efforts on them as a company.

1. Identify at least one (1) policy, one (1) strategy, and one (1) practice for each company. The policy/strategy/practice, however, must not exceed the ten-year mark for currency. For example, if the current year is 2017, a requirement should be a 2007 feature at the very least for it to be considered current and relevant.
2. Provide the features or highlights of each policy/strategy/practise in no more than two (2) sentences.
3. Enumerate the impacts of the policies/strategies/practices on the company as a whole.
