You are required to go through the scenario, conduct research over the internet, and complete the below mentioned activities as per the task instructions. |
Activity 1: Identify key improvements
Your task. | In this activity, you will act as the lead educator. You are responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the work practices of your Centre. Your manager has requested you to review the current policy and procedures and identify the current procedure used by the organisation to induct and orient a new staff and determine their currency and relevance as per the current legislation and standards. You are required to identify any shortcomings in the current procedure and develop recommendations for improvement in the current work practices. You are required to include the following in your template: Identify the currency and validity of the current policy and procedure Identify the impact of the policy trends on the policy development Identify at least two shortcomings in the current policy and procedure and develop possible solutions for discussion. Activity 2: Discussion with stakeholders
Your task. | In this activity, you will act as the lead educator. You are required to send an email to your supervisor and your two colleagues outlining the identified policy issues in activity 1 and their possible solutions recommended by you. You are required to attach the template 1 developed in activity 1 and obtain feedback from the stakeholders. Your email should be written in a professional manner. One of your classmates will act as the supervisor and another two classmates will act as your colleagues to whom you are required to send an email. They will receive the email and send you confirmation. |
